Richard Jarmillo has worked on a breadth of market research initiatives including market landscape assessments, commercial evaluations, ATU (attitude, trial and usage) quantitative studies, patient journey assessments and life cycle management. In addition, he has worked across a range of therapeutic areas from Immuno-oncology to rare diseases.
Prior to joining bioStrategies, Richard contributed to the field analytical biochemistry. His primary focus was determining the ability of a novel DNA glycation adduct to act as surrogate biomarker for hyperglycemia. He developed clinical assays to measure DNA-adduct levels in humans and a mouse model of metabolic syndrome. Richard holds a Ph.D. in Biology from the City of Hope Graduate School of Biological Sciences and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of California, Irvine. He is also a California Community College graduate.
